The Ranma ½ (2024) project is ambitious and complex. Studio MAPPA is doing a good job, but goodwill alone is not enough if they never hear our feedback. That is why we also need to do our part and contribute. This page brings together all the ways we can support Ranma ½, both through practical actions and by showing our love for the series.

1. Watch the anime on Netflix!
It may seem obvious, but Netflix viewership is the most important metric. Watching episodes on the official platform, especially as new episodes are released, gives Netflix positive data to support approving new seasons.
1.1 Ranma ½ on TV (Japan)
If you happen to be in Japan, tuning in to the channel broadcasting the series live would also help. This probably has less impact than Netflix viewership (and is only an option for those in Japan), but it still contributes.
2. Merchandise
If you want to buy DVDs/Blu-rays, the manga (especially in Japanese), figures or any other merchandise, ideally use official sites and stores (Amazon Japan, the MAPPA store, etc.).
3. Anime Trending (AniTrendz) polls
Anime Trending is an international website that runs regular polls about currently airing anime, including:
- Most Anticipated: Before the series starts airing; you vote once.
- Top Anime: Every Sunday while the series is airing. Click to vote
- Character: Separate male and female categories, with 3 votes per individual anime in each category, every Tuesday. Click to vote
- Couple Ship: Up to 5 votes per anime, every Thursday. Click to vote
- Various polls after the series finishes airing (this section will be expanded later).
How do you vote?
Open the poll link, which should already bring the Ranma ½ options to the top. Click the option you want to vote for; an orange dot will appear:

Click the "NEXT" button at the top. You will be asked for some demographic information, for statistical purposes only. Select your sex and age, then click "SUBMIT VOTE".

A summary screen will appear. Your vote will only be confirmed once you click the SUBMIT button at the bottom!

If everything went well, you will see this message at the top:

A note on characters and couples/ships
The process is the same, but for each individual anime you can choose up to three male characters, three female characters and five couples/ships in their respective polls. Try to use all your available votes for Ranma ½! There are plenty of characters and couples from the series to choose from: vote for your favorites, but try not to limit yourself to a single vote.
There is one extra, simple step for characters: after selecting the male characters and clicking NEXT, you will be asked to select the female characters. Make your choices, then click NEXT again. The rest of the process is identical.
The staff are paying attention
The anime's staff check the results and often share them too. Voting is not just about enjoying a win: it also gives encouraging feedback to the people making the anime!

4. AniLab poll
AniLab is a Japanese website similar to Anime Trending. Click to vote
If the site opens in Japanese, you can switch it to English by opening the menu and clicking "English":

Once the site is in English, click the Ranma ½ entry:

Select the episode you watched (the latest episode is the one that counts), give it a star rating, add a comment if you wish, then click "Submit".

If everything went well, you will see a confirmation:

5. Anime Corner poll
This works much like the other two. Click to vote. A page listing the open polls will appear (usually there is only one). Click "Vote now":

Find Ranma ½ and click it. A red check mark will appear, as shown in the image. Then click "Review & Submit Vote":

A window will open asking you to complete a security check. Once you have done so, click "Submit". If everything went well, you will see this screen:

6. Aggregators and tracking sites
Beyond polls, there are several sites for keeping track of the anime and manga you follow. You can mark episodes as watched, leave ratings and more. An account is required.
The best-known ones are:
My Anime List (MAL): Probably the best-known and most established. You can rate individual seasons from 1 to 10 and individual episodes from 1 to 5 (in the forum):
Season 1 | Season 2 | Season 3
Anilist: A newer site with a few more features. Ratings can use different scales (1 to 100, 1 to 10 with a decimal place, etc.):
Season 1 | Season 2 | Season 3
IMDb: A general film and TV website that also occasionally comes up in anime discussions on social media. You can rate the series and individual episodes:
